Summoner or Ranger?

So, I'm doing a master mode drunk world playthrough. I've beaten every pre-hardmode boss (WOF not included,) and I'm debating on whether I should stay ranger or change to summoner. I've never truly done a summoner playthrough, because I just love mage and ranger so much. I have the best items and armor for both classes up past skeletron, pre woffle. Ranger has better defense, but summoner can go through walls with minions. Summoner downside is that since I'm not experienced with the class, master mode will be very difficult as it is my first time. However, ranger is just very bland and boring. I want your opinion on which is better now, because it's going to be hard to swap classes further down the line. Thanks!

SUMMONER IS THE BEST, just dodge the bullets and leave the rest to your minions
