[CLOSED] Sleeping is not passing time

Thread is now closed. Have not gotten support and it seems the information is just being glossed over, as nobody understands and just suggests things I already mentioned are not the issue. Forget this thread, thank you.

Me and a friend just started a Master mode playthrough and sleeping literally does not pass the time or make it speed up. The correct conditions ARE met. Our eyes are not even closing. We haven't even killed one boss yet. Why is it not working? We both restarted our entire PCs.

Edit: I would like all of you to carefully read my post before commenting, thank you. I have played Terraria for 7 years. I know how it works. I said that all conditions are met. We are laying in the bed. No events, no bosses, no blood moon, NPC already in the house, etc. It's simply not working.

As I said in the post, yes..

Your character needs to be lying on a bed to sleep. If sleeping doesn't make the time go faster, it can be due to the fact that it's an invasion event.

if a npc cant spawn in the house your bed is in it probably doesnt meet the conditions for beds, not sure if lighting counts though

I would like all of you to read my post before comment, thank you. I have played Terraria for 7 years. I know how it works. I already said all conditions are met. We are laying in the bed. No events, no bosses, no blood moon, NPC already in the house. It's simply not working.

i just got a golden bed from the pirate invasion and sat there and i could see the clouds move faster

Well, wind is a thing and that could make clouds move faster. You can really only test it with a stopwatch or clock or anything else that can tell time.

Sorry for being hasty to comment and offer suggestions. Perhaps you would like to help us by uploading a video to show what you've been doing and the (I think glitchy) behaviour the game is giving you.

i have the same problem. does anyone have a solution?
