How to access the crafting menu with a controller?

I'm playing with a 360 controller and I'm not having too much trouble with most controls, but I cannot seem to figure out how to craft anything. I can open the inventory and I see the crafting menu right there, but I can't get the controller to access it.

I figured it out. Use the left trigger while the inventory is open to access two possible crafting menus.

Years later, but the actual solution is don't play with a controller because the PC version's support for it is garbage.

Cycle hotbar
