My world has no above-ground hallow.
I entered hard mode, and my hallow area spawned on the side with my one initial corruption biome. The corruption is spreading, but the hallow is not, because it cut into a snow biome. it doesn't seem to be converting the snow, just the ice. Still, even when I get the hallow background, I don't get any hallowed enemies. My underground hallow also seems to be rather sparse (it just converted part of my underground snow biome, which i had already fully explored. Also, I have a box set up to protect most of my snow biome, so even if it did spread it can't spread very far. And it will never affect any 'pure' areas (the area where it hit is right on the edge of a desert biome, which has already been corrupted).

I'm unsure what to do. Its made collecting souls of light rather difficult (to get the ones I needed to spawn the twins, I had to farm a spider nest near the hallowed area). And I haven't seen any hallowed enemies at all on the surface. From the looks of it, my entire surface is just going to be corruption, snow, jungle, and corrupted desert.

I don't know what I can do to fix this. All the pure areas, besides the one around my base of course, are already corrupted. I don't really see any areas I can convert.

I said I checked the jungle, the corruption hit on that side of the map The hallow went through the side with my initial corruption biome and dungeon, though I'm not sure if it'll be able to make it to the other side of the dungeon.

Use Clentaminator and manually spread the Hallow. Or use Hallow Seeds.

Clentaminator may be your best bet, if everything's corrupted. That or manually digging out an area and filling it with hallow blocks (might be easiest in hell).

I don't have any hallowed grass, and I don't really seem to have a hallowed biome on the surface. How can I get blue solution? Unless I can build a house in the underground hallow and move the steampunker there temporarily....

There are several ways to make turn a Biome to Hallow: Dryad sells Hallow Grass Seeds, Holy Water turns a small area into Hallow, Pearlstone (and other Hallow blocks) will continue to spread Hallow around it.

well, you coudl also just draw a dirt line intop of the snow biome to make it spread.

Didn't realize the dryad sold hallowed seeds when in a normal biome -.- Anyway, I now have 2 areas of above-ground hallow spreading. Even managed to farm enough materials for a rainbow rod.

Maybe I should learn more about this game's mechanics. I've been playing it since it came out and I still don't seem to know everything.
