Where do you get the red key in the Dungeon?

So I beat Skeleton and got access to the dungeon and when I was exploring I came across a red chest with an eye in the middle it says on the icon it needs a red key so I am wondering is how do you get the red key for the red chest?

I guess it from all underworld monsters, sorry I'm not sure cause I don't obtained it at all. But I had another specific key for those chest types. Each chests in dungeon need a key from each monster from all biomes.

So monster like a demon, lava slime, lava bat may drop those key.

monsters specific to the biome have a very slim chance to drop the biome chest mold/key. even then you need to defeat plantera to unlock the chest

(you know the place thats all red)

The red key is the crimson key its an item you get towards the end of the game its very rare it only has an extremely small chance to drop from crimson enemies

You won’t be able to open that chest for a bit, even when you do get a key (1/2500 drop chance) you’ll need to have defeated plantera before you’re able to open any of the biome chests.
