notes: if i skipped a phase its because the gear in the phase before is fine for it.
if a phase i have listed is missing items its because the phase before has better items for the circumstances.
you can still have weapons(or any item) from the phase before if you want.
you can have other items if you want but these are some base tool that are needed.

i would probably prefer obsidian armor over spider armor, if you want more damage over defense.

i dont think everyone has the patience to grind out the empress of light pre golem for terraprisma, but sanguine staff and dark harvest/durrendal is a option too

Can't even give a good summoner progression guide. Wow. Obsidian armour lasts all the wall to Spooky (and even post-ML).

Pre-hardmode summoners now have access to Pygmy Necklace and Optic Staff is absolute garbage.
