Working shark statue seed?

Heyo,

I'm looking for qqa seed with shark statues as I can't find any in my actual farming world, anyone hapen to have a working seed at hand for the current version?

Statues don't work for farming items anymore. They patched it ages ago.

Well, guess I got to wait until I grow webbed feet and hands then, with how low the natural shark spawn rate is even with water candle and battle potion *G*

Actually, shark statues are still able to drop fins. Just at a really lower rate, but its still better + faster than farming real sharks.

Yes, I know, why do you think I'd be wanting a shark statue (while thinking they' still spawn sharks) if I don't need it for the fin drops of the sharks? Oo

As I'm hoarding 5(!) jellyfish neckleaces by now but still no diving helmet (♥♥♥♥ spawn rates for sharks xD) I'm also trading those for helmets ^.^

I got it, I finally got it! Only took me getting 10 Jellyfish Necklaces before a single bloody helmet dropped xD

If anybody wants some of them, just let me know ^^

Wait, are you farming the jellyfish and shark statues underwater or the live monsters?

Anyway jellyfish and shark statues DO work. I simply place them on land wired to a fast switch and shoot away or use minions. Helmets will eventually come. I actually got my first diving helmet killing a live shark at the beginning. Found shark Statue much later but I needed to get more fins so hence the wire setup.

Make sure to up WiKi it to craft helmet into even better ones like the Arctic diving gear.

Nah, farmed the live ones under water, with Water Candles (increased spawn), Garden Gnomes (increased luck), Coral Torches (incrased luck) and Battle potions (increased spawn) but due to the sharks spawning at a generally way lower rate then the jellyfish, I was initially wanting to set up a shark farm (until the user further above just outright lied regarding the statues not working anymore -.-)

They can still drop items it’s just the drop rate is less on statue’s but as long you have the Crossbow turret or flame turret it’s easy to grind items from them
