Can't find ice tortoises
I have spent like 2 battle potions worth of time just flying around the surface of the ice biome but I have literally not seen a single ice tortoise at all, do they only spawn underground or something? Is there an easy way to farm them as well?

The wiki calls underground snow "Ice" and surface snow just "Snow". This is because that's how the music boxes in the game are labeled. So it actually does specify but only if you already know the distinction.
