Well my weapon is the Ruthless Blood Butcher with 26 damage points, dunno if its good
Oh, didn't know about that. I got through my first goblin invasion yesterday, and I have like 100 of these spiky balls. Thanks for the answers everyone!
However! Jungle is very dangerous at this stage so you might want to consider sticking to Bow + Jester arrows if you aren't sure about visiting underground jungle. Also if you were lucky to get a Mace, upgrade it to Flaming Mace it's great weapon vs the BoC and his creepers too.
Also keep in mind this boss is weak to knockback.
Yes farm the Crimson enemies for Vertebra and look for vicious mushrooms on Crimson grass surface for crafting vicious powder.
Then you can craft Bloody Spine at the Crimson altar and you can use that to summon the BoC boss

Also if you have trouble finding Vicious mushrooms.
You can "extend" the area with crimson grass by placing aditional dirt with grass on it. Crimson grass can spread in preharmode to adjacent grass blocks as long as there are no sunflowers nearby.
The more crimson grass the bigger chances finding vicious mushrooms.
Same rule as with regular forest mushroom farms basically.
Thanks a lot!
