Tomb Crawler Spawn
So... I'm new to the game and whatever, but I just found a Tomb Crawler, and of course died to it. However, looking at the wikis, they're said to only spawn underground in the desert? I'm very confused and I haven't gone back underground after then (yet), but I could have sworn that this Tomb Crawler spawned in the forest biome... Are the wikis wrong, or am I just mistaken?

Where you near a desert that was in the process of a sandstorm?

The desert is quite a ways away from where I was mining, but knowing some of the stuff in this game, may have been enough for this to have happened. I'm not quite sure how I can count this, however walking there from the entrance of the cave is a while away.

And I'm not sure if a sandstorm was taking place, and the desert isn't visible from the cave I was in, and I hadn't checked it out.

Irrelevant. Why would we be playing in 1.4? Anyway, Tomb Crawlers were added in 1.3, so version doesn't really matter.

A large cluster of sand counts as a desert anywhere in the world. There was probably a large pocket of it offscreen.
