Worm/bait farming
Has this been severely nerfed? I've tried a lot of things to get worms to spawn lately including building an actuated glass-bottomed dirt farm covered in grass and overrun with flower boots and nothing spawns either from actuation or using a scythe. So I am thinking worm farming has been nerfed. Anyone else experience this issue? (Worms aren't spawning at all it seems, not on natural grass/dirt, nor on artificial surfaces.)

If your just talking regular fishing bait and not truffle worms I would reccomend building a jungle farm with 3 block tall walkways staked on top of each other then let the background plants you break with a pick grow and break those (with your pick). I get mostly grubbys buggys and sluggys but the grubbys are about the same as worms and the buggys and sluggys are better.

Yes for regular fishing. I've never even bothered to truffle worm hunt as I never had any yen to face Duke Fishtron. The thing is this: I have a whole ton of fallen stars so I had my heart set on finding a bunch of worms. In the time since I posted this I've found a total of 7. That seems like they were really nerfed in terms of spawn rate. (I remember getting tons of them when I wasn't even looking for them.) Also butterfly spawns seem way way down.

Idk how it was before but i have no problems finding worms.
I stand with flower boots on one patch of grass while holding a Flamelash spell projectile on me to insta destroy any regrowing plants. After like 30 seconds there are multipile worms and grasshoppers all over.
