Fireblossoms "autobreak" when grew up
Haven't played for a while so maybe i missed something.

I've got fireblossom's seeds in underworld, and plant it in ash on surface. Added bucket of lava on it. Flowers grows up pretty well. There is only one problem - when it grows up fully it breaks automatic (like if i shoot it with projectile).

I mean i don't do anything. I'm wandering around doing different stuff then return to my garden and there is all fireblossoms just on the ground. So i can gather them (1 per 1 flower) but that's all. No bonus gathering, no seeds.

Shoots feels pretty well in lava, grows normally. Until they autogather themselves.

What am i doing wrong?

It's just laying here waiting me for coming back.

It's actually the lava that is breaking the plant, as soon as it's ready to be harvested, with the same mechanic as a projectile.
In patch 1.3.x it was changed, so the fireblossoms do not need to be submerged in lava anymore, instead they bloom depending on weather and time. They still grow naturally on ash or can be planted in pots, planter boxes or ash manually.

edit: 3:45pm - 7:30pm when not raining.

Waterleaf does not need to be submerged in water, and it only blooms during rain.

Nope, they now bloom when it's raining.

About the wiki, if you're reading on terraria.wikia.com you'll find tons of outdated pages. The wiki at gamepedia is the better one: http://terraria.gamepedia.com/

Yeah always read at gamepedia. I mean it isn't definite like "They don't bloom in lava since 1.3" and mind continue works in templates like "OK, now they bloom in lava AND at certain time".

Anyway thanks again.

It's pretty clear in that it's not mentioned in the main article because it's no longer relevant. Plus, in the history section.
"1.3.0.1: Now blooms during sunset. No longer blooms while submerged in lava"
