Just mine around to create some larger areas here and there so it won't be so cramped.
I think the thing is that she only spawns on spider cave background, and there's usually plenty of that.
When you're done, just sit around or go back and forth with it being on screen/off screen, preferably with a lifeform analyser and then get in there and wreak havoc on all the spiders so you get to her first. As long as you speak her before she dies it's cool.
Even if she dies a new one can spawn a minute later or so.
I can't remember but pretty sure she counts as a rare spawn so a gnome would perhaps help a little?
If you haven't saved them yet, one thing to do is start searching for them at night with a hunter potion to make spotting them easy. Once you free them, just teleport away or move one screen away from them, they automatically teleport to the nearest house available provided you have empty housing for them where you can interact with them in peace because they got magic NPC teleportation skills at night.
Other than that, if you've saved them and they died, they'll arrive the next day provided there is empty housing for them, no events are going on and no other NPCs are set to re/spawn before them.
i.e Guide respawning after summoning WoF.
