On the plus side they sell for a bit so early source of money i guess.
OR you can do what I did.
Open your terraria folder in steamapps>common, open the content and finally the sounds folder.
Copy "Unlock.xnb" to a separate folder to work with. This is the smallest, quietest and least obnoxious sound in the game. a tiny click for when you unlock a chest with a key.
Next, navigate to your "Zombie_(#'s).xnb" files and rename #'s 10, 11 and 12 for ducks and 110, 111, 112, 113, 114 for Owls. I just added a few extra capital Z's to the beginning so they go to the end of the folder for ease of finding later if needed for whatever reason. This includes the human voice sounds for those animals as well.
Next, rename the extra Unlock.xnb file to one of the file names that you changed and copy it back into the folder. Do this for all files you changed.
You'll never hear one of those obnoxious things again :)
I just tried that. It works in tModLoader too :D I love you man
lol glad to help man. Shared this on a couple other threads too for anyone else looking. Got whined at by a Karen for answering an older thread but whatever lol
I recommend doing it for splash 0 and 1 also, SO much less annoying when something gets caught going in and out of one block of water ^_^
