getting terraprisma / fighting empress in day tips.

the Empress Of Light is a late hard mode boss fought around the same time as Duke Fishron, she drops good and flashy loot and similar to her attacks. If you fight her at day however, she does 25,000 damage if you have no armour but she drops the best summon weapon in the game (which if you have a late game summoner load out, can be more powerful than zenith). here are some tips you don't have to follow but they will probably help.

tactics:
the main thing is killing her as quickly as possible without getting killed yourself so defence and health mean nothing. remove all items that are health / defence based and swap them with speed and damage items.

armour:
full hallowed armour is best i think because defence means nothing but the full set bonus basically gives you an extra life that recharges every 30 seconds.

weapons :
since you will need to very fast you will often leave the empress behind so I'd recommend long distance, fast shooting and AoE weapons as the will have more chance of hitting but mainly the weapon with most DPS is best. probably stick to less than three weapons because you don't have time to find a weapon all the way on other other side of the hot bar. I have only ever beat her with zenith.

accessories :

don't use any health or defence items as they will be useless but flesh knuckles or putrid scent is ok if on multiplayer. soaring insignia and tier three wings are a must. anything that increases damage and speed will be useful.

mounts :
I find mounts too slow to work, even a shrimpy truffle in the rain.

arena :
I think you should start a new world and fly around in the sky above spawn with soaring insignia and good wings as there wont be anything in the way and if you die all the NPCs living in you ten story shoe box (or nice build) won't be impaled by sun particles. this will give you a huge space to dodge attacks.

playing alone :
It would be better to play with two or three players so that if one of you dies there will be another player to fill in but there may be some fighting over who gets the terraprisma.

normal, expert, master :
do it on classic because you only really want the terraprisma if you fight her at day and the other loot isn't important. on classic she will have less health making her easier to defeat.

You can start the fight in the night and then get it to low hp then wait for it to become day and then kill not sure if it counts as killing day because i havent tried myself but it might work

i forgot to say master ninja gear is also very useful but you will almost definitely want something that allows you to dash.
