Dungeon slimes arent spawning?

I dont know if its just me, but im trying to do the achievement where you kill all types of slimes. Now im 22/24 and im trying to find a dungeon slime to see if i havent killed one yet. Trouble is, none are spawning i know they are rare but, ive been walking in dungeons for 2 hours using water candles battle potions but nothing but skeletons. I even loaded a new world and quickly beat skeletron to go in but still nothing. I thought maybe just bad luck so i downlaoded a dungeon afk farm to see if that would work but no dice. Any ideas why this may be?

try another world that may work if it dosent then sorry thats all i have maybe its a spawn bug but my best bet is new word honestly

maybye you just need to wait, dungeon slimes are rare to appear

i finally managed to get one thanks but turns out that wasnt it, stuck on 23/24 even though my bestiary says i got em all
