are biome crates bugged?
Im fishing for some time, with a pretty high fishing power for a pre skeleton world, and with crate pot ive gotten some golden crates, but not even ONE biome crate.

Yeah, i was fishing in the ocean to get that sweet ww boots, till i got it on a chest, but anyway, that crate issue still bothers me
Well, according to the wiki, a biome crate hangs somewhere around 0.56% chance without a potion, and 1.12% with, so it is fairly likely you might have just been extremely unlucky. Also the luck factor affects chance for crates. So might be that as well.

Are you fishing in the actual biome you want the crate to belong to? E.G. in the crimson? If not that's the issue, biome crates are only ''drops'' from fishing in the actual biomes. Exceptions are dungeon crates and sky crates who have their own set rules.

Biome crates are approximately as common as golden crates. So getting a few golden crates but no biome crates isn't that unlikely. Getting a dozen golden crates but no biome crates would be quite unlikely.

Note that obsidian and hellstone crates aren't actually biome crates (you can catch them in any biome so long as you have a lava pool to fish in). They're a lot more common than biome crates, mainly due to there being so few alternative catches in lava. Which is useful as it's often the only way to get a lava charm (needed for lava waders and thus terraspark boots).
