How Did The Crimson Do This

so uhhh for some odd reason when i defeated the wall of flesh for some reason there was crimson all over my jungle for some reason so uhhh could i find someone to help me with that please? oh and tell me why it did that or does defeating the wall of flesh add more infection your playing with on your world? i will check up on this post in a bit.

yeah defeating the wall of flesh adds a few more crimsons and they wont stop growing super fast until you beat plantera but you cant really beat plantera because the jungle you have is gone you will have to make an artificial jungle underground

when you kill the wall of flesh for the first time a giant V of Evil & Hallow shoots up from the center of the underworld going all the way to the sky potentially (and even infecting any sky islands happens to hit on the way up).

Also any time you smash a evil altar a block of evil terrain randomly placed somewhere in world.

well that sorta sucks cuz only part of my jungle is infected by it while the rest is not

Spray some hallow there or take some action to cut off a bit for perservance.

Or just leave it and hope for the best!

well the crimson cant really spread in mud but the thing is that uhhhh it landed on some D I R T and i put some mud between it and hope it will stop it come from over to the desert

Oh mud doesnt stop it. It slows it down, but the crimson will eventually tunr it to dirt, then spread to it.

Yeah... As you can read in that guide.

In hardmode the Mud will be converted into Dirt so it will spread.
Chlorophyte will slow down this process however.

welp 1 i restart and get a new world or two i deal with the crimson infecting my base soon and i have to deal with that then
