Molten or meteor armor?

This is my first time playing expert mode, and I've finally made it to the WoF. I still need to make an underworld bridge and get my potions ready, but now I'm wonder what armor I should wear. I'm using only magic weapons so I was thinking about using meteor, but the problem with meteor is it has lower defense, so would it be worth using molten instead?

Use meteor armour. You don't benefit as much from the defence of molten armour as you do from the damage increase of the meteor armour.

go for molten amour because the minions wof sends will drop mana replen stars

Priorities:
1)Mobility (But that does not mean reforging to +% Movement speed)
2)Damage

Armor that does not match your weapons should not be used, no matter what other bonuses it gives.

Honestly I'd say neither and go for jungle. It offers more well rounded boosts to magic class than meteor and although it offers less damage, you'll have to chug mana potions less often and won't be afflicted with mana sickness nearly as often.

Mana regeneration potions eliminate this issue. It only takes a few seconds to go from 0 to full mana with a mana regeneration potion.

Molten Armour is melee gear, if you're playing Mage you're not getting the most out of it, so I'd switch to either Jungle or Meteor.

just go for solar flare kid, no but tbh, meteor is pogchamp, you can mine it easily with bombs/dynamite, smelt it, and pow you have a good armor.

meteorite armor + space gun pre eoc is pretty op, so they changed it to be post boc/eow.
