Use the following guide for making a resource pack:
https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/the-ultimate-guide-to-content-creation-and-use-for-the-terraria-workshop.100652/
You can also extract an existing music replacer resource pack from the workshop if you want a head start, using {LINK REMOVED}www.steamworkshopdownloader.io
If you plan on having custom vanilla music for Tmodloader in its current state on the other hand then you obviously specifically need to use wavebanks and there is no other option to my knowledge. Fortunately, I found the extra tweak that I mentioned previously:
- The guide that I recommend for making wavebanks is the following:
Combine that guide with the quick forum fix for 1.4 above it and you should be good to go.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBh5c9gHNw8
I'll try to remake the current Wavebank that I have that is giving me the memory issue and see what happens. I appreciate the links! Going to try and follow them a bit more and see where it gets me.
