Yes, there's no penalty for building artificial biomes for Npcs. The problem is that an artificial Biome requires a lot of Biome blocks to recreate so it's gonna be a big bubble or you could make bubbles using the already existing place to detect a Biome.

I dont mind the grind, i just want a nice looking base with all npcs in it like the old times, the info i could gather yesterday night said it requires around 100 to 300 blocks of each biome except ice and sand for the respective biomes that require 1500, wich isnt that much to be honest, is that correct ?

I just planted two or three rows of Pearstone in the air above my main base to it turned to Hallow for the NPCs. Not very aestetic, but neither a big deal. And it wasn't even a bubble. I'm sure you can go that way without much too much hazzle.

Yeah, but basic mud blocks don't actually count. The detection radius is only 170 blocks wide, so the 140 jungle grass blocks you need to make an aboveground jungle is significantly trickier than it looks.

Isnt just fill a square or a circle with mud and plant the seeds ? it used to be like that before.

I guess it's just that with, say, pearlstone, you can create a somewhat compact block and get your biome. And with Jungle Grass that might not be possible, since the inner blocks of mud don't grow Jungle Grass. So you've got to create separate lines of mud with empty lines in between. I think it still require too much space, but a bit more nevertheless.

Lizhard Brick counts for jungle if I'm remembering correctly.

It's also unharvestable until pretty close to the end of the game, though.
