I cant make an Anvil

I cant craft an anvil for some reason, i have all the requirements to make one already.

lol if you cant make one get 50 silver then buy it from the merchant for 25 silver

If u wanna craft one, you should try to craft it at the workbench. Anyways, u really shouldn't craft one, as u can either find em mining (inside some abandoned subterranean houses) or buy em from the merchant for 25 silver. Instead, try to save the iron to craft a bucket, a pickaxe or even an armor whenever u have the anvil.

You need 5 iron bar or lead bar so in my opinion you would be better off just crafting a sword and pickaxe

It is still annoying that terraria doesn't show you the crafting recipes but I guess that adds a harder aspect to the game.

You can’t craft metal swords or pickaxes without an anvil, and the guide shows you recipes…
