Do Biome Keys drop under the same conditions as Souls of Light/Night?

So since meteor head farming doesn't work anymore, I've got a Soul of Night farm in my Dungeon. Pre-Plantera Dungeon enemies are easy kills for someone who's been in hardmode a while. I put some Crimson blocks just outside the dungeon walls, until there were enough to count as Underground Crimson. Works like a charm.

But do the Biome Keys drop under the same conditions? Or do you have to be actually IN the biome, and not just nearby? I was thinking of putting Key farms for different biomes around different parts of the Dungeon, but I don't know if it works that way. So far my crimson Soul of Night farm has not given me any Crimson Keys, but I don't know if that's because it's impossible, or if it's just because the drop rate is so low.

TL;DR- Does anyone know for certain that being in the dungeon DEFINITELY DOES or DEFINITELY DOESN'T allow for Biome key drops?

Yeah, but I'm asking if placing blocks around the Dungeon, to change the biome will allow Dungeon enemies to drop keys. Do you count as "in the crimson" when you're in the dungeon? Or does the Dungeon biome override it? It works for Souls of Night. Does it work for keys too? Or do I need to put my crimson key farm somewhere else?

You are in the Crimson biome so you WILL get the key, any other biomes will not matter as long as Crimson is in there. (Since you can do stuff like hybrid biomes and get both keys; for example being in crimson ice biome will give you both keys.)

Edited to make my post sounds less uncertain, the wiki actually recommends a dungeon key farm setup as a method to get faster keys lol

Had to look up keys in the search to find it:

Under the arena tips specifically it says:
“The dungeon has a high spawn rate, so setting up a farm there can help speed up the farming process.”

This is legit all I could find but it is pretty good confirmation at least, so ye your good!
