why will you need spelunker potion though, the bulb will glow some pink light around it

You can also check areas you’ve explored on your map, they’ll show up as little 2x2 pink squares, and if you hover your mouse over it, it’ll tell you it’s a bulb. You can also speed up the process by digging horizontal tunnels to increase the chance of one spawning (they only grow on jungle grass blocks though).

Spelunker shows treasure / ores / hearts . The bulb is basically a trap , so a dangersense potion should work better . Anyway , they are easy to spot since they are pretty big and emit a pink-ish glow

Oh that’s right, dangersense potions will highlight them. Forgot about that.

Keep in mind that Plantera Bulbs only spawn below the surface in the jungle.

As long as your Depth Meter says "surface" you won't find any.
