Do Medium worlds now always have 2 evil biomes?
I can't find an ideal world to start a new game.

Whether it's the world being uneven as hell with sudden long cliffs and crap, the Dungeon being completely blocked off so there's no entry to it at all, the evil biome spawning on top of the Jungle or really close to spawn, I can't find a good world, and have just been deleting and recreating new worlds for about an hour.

Small has such little loot and cramps everything together, while Large is too big for single player to me, so I go with Medium worlds.

I finally settled in one. Has a Pyramid that contained the Sandstorm in a Bottle, and the entire world in general is pretty nice and normal enough. Although, one thing I noticed now is that Medium worlds pretty much always contain at least 2 Corruption/Crimson biomes spread apart throughout the world. Like bruh, I would rather have 1 fairly-large Corruption/Crimson, than having to deal with 2 on each side of the world.

My first crimson is on the Ocean side of the Dungeon, touching it. My second one, is literally right next to the Jungle on the left side of the world, and is also touching the Ocean. Both of them are literally going to corrupt both Oceans. I haven't tried Corruption yet as I usually go Crimson, but I assume it's the same.

tl;dr - The title. Do medium worlds now always contain more than 1 Corruptions/Crimsons?

I usually play on Large and it always contains 2 Evil biomes, especially after WoF is defeated. I don't play on Small very often but I noticed that sometimes there are 2 Evil biomes there.

i usually go with the first world i create, I'm not looking for any Ideal world that has beautiful cliffs etc. I make the terrain a bit flat to make a npc tower and then build a nice big base. But sometimes when I want to do a slow and normal gameplay without speedrunning i either find a good looking world or find a nice Spawn location. And when creating a world, even if it's good looking and the biomes are nice it's most likely gonna be overtaken by Hallow and Crimson/Corruption.

If you are not set to play "for the worthy" seed, I suggest to always go for "drunk" seed (05162020). It's so much better content-wise than any regular seed.

Well what I was trying to say is that pretty much every world I created has multiple evils, and I'm wondering is that unluckiness? A feature? Are other people experiencing it?

Wow thanks for that great reply. But what I mean by "Dumb extreme cliffs" is crap like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Terraria/comments/auay8g/totally_didnt_need_that_ocean_or_anything/

Trying to find a "Beautiful perfect" world is pretty hopeless, so it does make sense to just go with that you got. I never experience really bad world to the point that I'm posting about it here now until 1.4.

It's not "multiple evils", you just have the same evil being spread into small parts on the surface here and there.

Thank you Captain Obvious. What I meant to say is whenever I create a Medium world, I usually only get 1 evil biome. I say "evil" instead of Corruption or Crimson, cause not everyone likes Crimson better than Corruption. "Evil biome" can mean either. I guess I'll just say Crimson now.

What I wanna know, is why do I never get only 1 Crimson biome? Hell, some people have been getting three. (I know this example isn't 1.4 but still): https://www.reddit.com/r/Terraria/comments/8ayihf/medium_size_map_with_five_pyramids_and_a_water/

^ A Corruption biome on the left side of the world that's gonna attack the Jungle and Ocean like crazy in Hardmode, and another one on the right.

To the people in the future who are currently reading this, there is no need to necropost. No one here gave me the answer I wanted/expected (and I guess it's because of the way I worded my post, so yeah, I should of just kept it simple. Apologies guys).

I'm just gonna assume I was getting extremely with world gen, so I just kept on creating new worlds, and I finally found one that isn't stupid, so I'm happy. Thanks for telling me about the secret seeds as well Nifrigel! I'll go check them out someday. Hope I can enjoy 1.4.1 now.
