How do I make my interface/hud bigger?
It's way too small and compact, and I have vision problems

There should be a "UI size" option in the options.

Well, yes, there should be. But there isn't! I find it very hard to see the interface, even at 800 X 600. It really makes it impossible for me to play the game. Anyone have a work-around?

Try changing the game resolution to your monitor resolution. If your monitor resolution is 1920x1080 (a common monitor resolution) and your game resolution is 800x600 the Ui is going to be roughly half the size it should be

It’s exactly the opposite. If I change the game resolution to 1920 x 1080 (native monitor resolution), the UI becomes microscopic! Setting game resolution to 800 x 600 gives me the largest UI, but it’s still too small. As I said, the game is unplayable for me at this point.

Strange, that really shouldn't be happening. Try changing the resolution back to 1920x1080 and restarting the game. If that doesn't work, I have no idea what could be happening.

The answer, from the developer's forum: You must be within a game (not the front screen), and then it's Settings->General->Zoom->UI scale. Hooray, I can play again! It's not where I would have expected to find it, and the UI was so small to begin with that I simply couldn't see the text associated with the zoom sliders. Kind of a Catch-22.

Well, anyway, if OP ever comes back, hope it helps. And thank you, derpykat5 for trying to help us both. I appreciate it.
