how come i can't get the minishark trading card despite me having it?

i have the minishark gun but yet i didnt get the trading card can someone tell me why it may havent work?

You get it randomly when you buy the game, any game you purchase will give you random cards. Earning the corresponding thing in game won’t give you cards, you’d have to buy it off the market or buy another copy of the game, steams rules, not terraria’s.

You don't get trading cards for doing specific things in-game. They drop at random whenever playing the game.

If you're still looking for a minishark trading card try the trading subforum or buy one on the community market

Yeah when you buy it from the arms dealer you do not get the card. I actually have the card from when I first bought the game, though, but any cards you get are just from when you pay for a game.

Yes, it's the same as just about any other steam game.
As mentioned, you get it one for owning the game and then every x hours you get another random one for Y ammounts of times.

when you buy a new game on steam then play a game you earn new cards its rng you dont have to rebuy terraria its any game you buy the next game you play for acouple hours you will earn cards
