Truffle not spawning [SOLVED]

Truffle seems to refuse to move into my Mushroom Biome houses, I even built one higher up to make sure it was above 0 elevation. I used TEdit to spawn him in cause he refused to spawn and the game just tells me the house doesn't meet the requirements for a Truffle.

BTW the first house on the ground did have tables and chairs before, used them for the house above.

Would he move into the Guide's house? If that's the case neither, maybe there's not enough Mushroom Grass around, the background might be misleading.

I did try switch the house, while I was just doing other stuff waiting for reply, he just moved in by himself. I don't know if this was just a glitch or something but he's moved in by himself now.

Then it's probably the Mushroom Grass which kept spreading.

It was already fully spread where he moved in

Yeah, but it wasn't the case at your picture. At least for the second house. My guess is that there was some unconverted mud around, and once that became Mushroom Grass, it sufficed and Truffle could move in.

Both houses having the mushroom biome background, so obviously it classified as a mushroom biome. Probably a case of truffle taking ages to spawn but I could be wrong

The 2nd house wasn't there before and the grass was fully developed, still said truffle didn't want it.

Even with forced spawn he didn't want it. I'm classing it as some weird bug, but at least he's there now.
