TModLoader Black Screen Mac

Ok, I downloaded TModLoader yesterday with HERO's mod and it worked then. Now today it doesn't work. ReLogic logo shows, but it is stuck on a black screen forever after that. I've tried deleting the mods, and downloading the Java file again. Please help

I'm not sure if this is still an issue you're facing, but I was running into this problem just now. Restarted Terraria several times, restarted steam, restarted my Mac, nothing worked.

I did notice that I had steam overlays enabled for the game, and that right before the game froze, there was the little toast in the bottom left corner.

So I just went to Terraria in my Library then "Properties" and under the "General" tab, I unchecked the "Enable the Steam Overlay while In-game" option. And everything worked fine; some of my mods got disabled for some reason but I just re-enabled them and reloaded them without an issue.

Did you also happen to install the latest version of tModLoader? The latest, right now, is v0.11.2.2.
