Modded Terraria Boss Spawning Issue

I've been playing modded terraria with a friend for the past couple days, and have run into a bug. For whatever reason, when either of us use a boss summoning it tries to summon the boss, which then instantly despawns. WIth plantera it sits off screen with no ai for a couple seconds, then despawns, and with the moonlord it does the visual effects which either end a couple seconds later, or stay with moon lord sounds, but no boss. When spawned using cheats the bosses work fine. I've tried reloading mods, restarting the server and restarting the game, and nothing has fixed it. It only seems to happen on multiplayer, and isn't specific to the world. Normal enemy spawns aren't impacted at all.
Also, some items seem to be broken in multiplayer too, such as my clentaminator that wouldn't work until after a couple server restarts.

Items from disabled mods haven't been used in the server at all. The issue came up a while after disabling those mods. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Make a new world and start disabling mods, testing and repeating.

The thing is, all of the mods were working together perfectly fine before things broke. The issue came up mid way through a session, so I don't think a mod updating could've caused the issue. I'll go backup my worlds and try anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've found the mod causing the issue. For whatever reason, item customiser broke it.
