what does the size do for weapons

i have a massive true nights edge, since its bigger does it do more damage or is it just a bigger hit range or is it for looks

Yeah it's just the range, damage is a different stat. But worth mentioning only range for hitting enemies, doesn't help minind or axing. Only weapons that are swung can have it, staves and such can have reduced mp cost instead.

For the small weapons at the start of the game you will barely tell the difference but that percentage makes a difference later with the bigger weapons.
