Do you still need to have Steam activated to be able to play Terraria?
Because a DRM free version would be nide.

Note that you'll have to set up servers / multiplayer the old way using this version as it does not benefit from steam friends/invites etc.

Well, I just bought the game (again) on GoG (and whishlisted it on Humble) but it kinda suck that the game forces you to have Steam enabled to use it (if you don't have internet or that Steam is down it's very unconvenient).

Furthermore I doubt that DRMs have really been that useful against piracy and that the game would be a bit more relaxed when it comes to DRM because it sold a lot.

If you do not have internet for long periods of times you can just play on offline steam, Terraria is not an online game unless you want to play in multiplaye

Why do you buy Terraria multiple times on different sites and what does your internet connection have to do with Terraria (which is a singleplayer game that does not require internet) to begin with??
