where the ♥♥♥♥ can i get an aglet

so im trying to make lightning shoes. problem is, i cannot find a damn aglet. every wood chest is either a radar or a blowpipe. hell, i got a damn unicorn mount before i could get an aglet. what do i do.

It can also be fished up from Wooden Crates if you're desparate.

Aglets should be craftable. If 1.4 only did this I would be happy.
