If my friend has the paladin's shield, hero's shield, and ice shield, do I only take 25% damage?

So, basically the title. Each shield makes him take 25% of my damage, so does that mean with 3, he takes 75% of mine?

When you are under 50% hp, it takes action. You have to be on a restricted Team.

From the Frozen Shields wiki page: "The low-health shield does not stack with Frozen Turtle Shell, and the team damage redirection effect does not stack with the Paladin's Shield nor the Hero Shield."

hmm. If there are two people who have shields on my team (excluding me), will the effects not stack onto me?

From the Paladins shield wiki page: "If two or more players on the same party equip the Paladin's Shield, only the one closest to the damaged party member will take the split damage. Furthermore, the players equipped with the Shield will not have their own damage shared with others also using the Paladin's Shield – only those party members without the Shield will have their damage mitigated."
I think this answers your question, I don't have much personal experience with hardmode stuff so, I'm just relaying stuff from the wiki. Sorry if this doesn't help much.
