I'd reccomend giving up since the mount isn't even that good, far too slow.

We're in pre-hardmode are looking for good flight that can sustain ourselves to the top of the Sky Islands. Rocket Boots do nothing to reach the skies, and simply building up costs a lot of resources.

the Honeyed Goggles has a 5% drop rate. By now, it should be dropping 100%, but it isn't.

Uhh nope, that's not how drop rate works. Everytime you kill the queen bee you have a 5% of getting them, it doesn't accumualate until it reaches 100%.

Its 5% every time (I understand simple math is hard for some), maybe if you spend more time trying to get the goggles and less time crying about it you would have them sooner.

If you want to get to the islands, use gravitation potions. They can be found in chests.
Using the bee mount wont fly high enough to reach the islands.

I believe he is referring to it as a ratio, he has beat it so many times it should have dropped by now.

However it is random so you could kill it over 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times without getting it.

The bee mount actually is very bad, it has very limited mobility and speed it can fly high but wont go far.

Getting the Mount can take any where from 1 ~ 20.

Though, If you are Really unlucky it Can take Anywhere from 1 ~ 600...

It is all RNG, Also You are better off getting a Lucky horse shoe/Lightning or Frostspark boot Combo.

As the Bee mount Really Does Lack.
Not to mention There's also Methelod of Estimation.

A forumla of 10% Would be 1 ~ 10
Now What if we Take the Formula of 20% And Multiply it by the Drop chance?
Well Obviously, We get 100.


Now We Subtract This number by 20, That gives us a Result of 80.

IT should In total, Take 80 Kills to Be Granted One.
But Even then, RNG can Say "Suck it"

OR i think i did the Formula correct.

TL;DR

Formula base is 1 ~ 20
Or on expert 1 ~ 10

20% Multiplied by 5 = 100
now Subtract 20 Thats 80.

Basically, It should take 80 kills If you are Super unlucky at tops.

(Cut it in half in Expert to 40)
