mounts not working and just turning into a puff of what seems to be dust thats red

when ever i press r to use my mount it does not work idk why can somebody explain to me why its happening?

btw the mount i am currently using is Gelatinous pillion

Make sure you have room to summon your mount - if you or it would clip through blocks because of it's size, then it will just make a puff of dust like you describe.

i have got enough room but it keeps falling to spawn in

they work but pressing r like i normally would does not i have to have it in my hotbar to summon my mount tbh idfk whats up with it but eh it works again

The issue is that two key binds are set to your mount button and something else.
