defeated the twins twice,still no soul of sight...

try looking around where they died, if you dont find any cheat in exactly 50, if you kill the twins more and they still dont drop? just cheat 25 through a all items server, i recommend using teeria

i fought the twins in a very long flat area and checked from one end to the other :/

i have 60 hours in this game,been about 2 weeks since i started
you know,when you're a noob in any game,you wanna learn about it first before going into harder difficulty.im planning to start on expert after learning the game even more(i still dont know a lot of stuff)

Just to further clarify: soul items aren't affected by gravity. You'll need to fly to point where the last twin died.

well, when 1.3 first came out i was like "hey, i like challenges, may as well yolo into the amazing world of expert" and after that i learned to never play normal again :D

yeah! thats what i didnt know and found that soul item(proving what a noob i am :P) without fighting the boss again
apparently it was higher than what i could fly up with wings,so i had to place more blocks to fly higher than get that

the souls of sight arent affected by gravity they float where the boss died maybe this is your problem

Glad you got that sorted out. Just so you're warned, there will be another very important item later on in the game that floats. It comes in four variants and drops from - to avoid spoilers - the four entities constituting the beginning of the end. You shouldn't have to search this hard for them, though. Good luck! :)
