How do I make custom vanity items and add them in game?

I need a step by step on how to make custom vanity items and add them in game. I already got the Tmloader and the tutorial mod skeleton as well as notepad for the coding, I just need step by step on how it's done. Thanks.

hmm, never tried making mods to terraria so i dont know myself.
Probably all you need is the tmodloader since as it says on its description (it is also a mod API)
and know like programming lang the tmodloader is in (java/c++/c#)
and the rest you can probably find on tmodloader web page.
