best armour for summoner pre moon lord

help i am switching between classes and idk what summoner best gear is for killing the 4 pillars

It's been a while since I've played a summoner playthrough.. but from what I remember, either the Spooky or Tiki Armor will work for you Pre-ML. So unless something's changed, I'm inclined to think that it's either one of those armor sets.

But of course, if someone has updated information, prioritize their advice over mine.

I think you're supposed to use Spooky for your first six minions or so (set bonus is more minion damage), then switch to Tiki for an additional minion.

the spooky uses 4 minion slots

As an experienced summoner, I can say, with faith, that the extra minion bonus from Tiki provides a similar amount of added DPS as would the damage bonus from Spooky would.
Of course, switching these sets also gives you this added damage to normally summoned minions, plus a bit of defense and an extra minion to work with. If this is too much to fit on your pre-battle checklist, then either set works fine.
