What happened?

Fargo's Mutant Mod. It's amazing, don't get me wrong. But I don't know what happened here, so can you tell me what happened?

So, let's start off with something simple. I beat the Eater of Worlds. Nothing glitchy here. So, with Cheat Sheet, I ended up acquiring a Worm Feast. I used it, and I summoned the eaters of worlds.

I lost.

So instead of being sane and not doing that again, I DID IT AGAIN! I used 5 worm feasts, and lost.

THEN I used 20. This message appeared:

The ground is shaking with extreme precipice...

I dunno what that meant, but I figured it wouldn't spawn any more.

So, then I got a worm food from a loot bag.

This is where things got strange.

Boss Health Bar had the HP of a normal EoW, out of the Worm Feast EoWs's HP.
I would think it got confusedish with me using 26 worm feasts, and then a normal worm food.
Then, something happened that happened that would normally only happen when using the Worm Feast.

Whenever I kill a body part, it teleports, and it says "Eater of Worlds has awoken!"

That's when I knew something was screwed up.

Eventually, more body parts were spawning than the combined HP of the boss at the beginning!

Yeah.
Things were screwed up.

I actually won that fight!
So, I then broke the 3rd shadow orb in a nearby corruption chasm.

It was a normal Eater of Worlds fight, except for the Boss Health Bar, which was also a worm feast's HP as max and a normal EoW's hp as the HP that it had.

Do you know what happened here?

It might've been what I thought earlier, but it might not.

But maybe other people on the internet know?

The Overloaded summons from Fargo's spawn 100 total bosses.. It only spawns 10 upon use When 1 dies, it summons another.

I might have used too much and probably glitched out the game

That might be the reason the message appeared

The Eater of Worlds is a complex boss, as it has a ton of segments, and when you kill a body segment, it splits in two. It is a worm boss, and it is fought in the corruption. That was obvious.
