Is the Aerial Bane too op?

This may seem like an archaic topic but it is one that i am intrieged by, the questionability of the power of the aerial bane. The bow's stats are quite insane in my opinion. The splitting of arrows into 6 projectiles and the double damge to sky enemies is quite damaging but is it a bit too powerful to exist. It is something i want to propose for responses and opinions. there is not clear factors to it as the bow has different results when used at different points and in different situations. Leave your responses below and put and explaination on why you this it is the case.

I why insist that the Aerial Bane is meant to be this strong. You only obtain the chance to obtain this weapon after Golem, so it seems natural that such a powerful weapon should be made available before the Moon Lord battle

You get this from defeating Betsy which is very hard to do unless you have beaten the pillars or anywhere forward from that. I think its power is level with everything else in that stage of the game
