Sniper Skeleton impossible to spawn.

Trying to get the sniper rifle & scope for hours, yet it seems even when surrounded with Pink Slabs these bastard wont spawn.

Any tips?

Maybe go into the actual dungeon and make a grinding spot there for use with a yoyo.

Also get a water candle.

You need to actually be in the Dungeon for it to work. As far as I know, you can't use the bricks and background blocks to make an artificial Dungeon that actually spawns enemies.

Could be wrong though.

EDIT: Just looked it up, you cannot make an artificial Dungeon, Lihzahrd Temple, Spider Cave, or Underground Desert. Placing backgrounds yourself of any kind will block spawns, and that includes Dungeon Walls, so only the naturally-generated ones work.

yeah no i dont think you can make a mini dungeon, all farming has to be done in the original structure
