Best pre-hardmode ranged build?

I'm on a world with corruption if it helps. Title says it all otherwise.

Bows arent optimal before hardmode, use minishark/star cannon and necro armor

items
* good health potions
* warding obsidian shield (cobalt shield + Obsidian skull)
* Rocket boots or any other boot that helps you move away quickly
* hornet staff, may not seem strong but any extra damage helps
* warding lava charm if you can find it, if you fall in lava youll need it (Obsidian skin potions are also an option)
* any other items that can boost damage or give you excess defense

you may want to consider making a long bridge to run on when fighting the Wall, if you need money or any other items to help your cause, fishing for crates is a good idea.

Warding is great for beginners. However, upper exp players will all know it's not the best.

titanium or adamantite armour
try getting some of the ranged weapons from the corrupt/crim mimics
star cannon for destroyer
the emblem for your character class
leaf wings
boots
shield
and 1 other accsesory of your choice
all modified to damage or attack speed
(edit) if your using warrior next time orichalcom armour shreds the destroyer if you use a cutlas

what do you mean by boots, lightning boots or something like that? also what shield, ankh or what? and why leaf wings of all? you also didn't recommend a weapon, what would you reccomend?

just edited for weapons and frostspark boots are the best currently but if you can't find iceskates lightning will work and leaf wings because they are the most powerful wings before the hardmode bosses
shield: obsidan at minimum but if you have an ankh shield use that

Pre-Hardmode:

BOWS:
- Molten Fury
- Bee's Knees
- NOT Hellwing Bow - too inaccurate & annoyingly low damage

GUNS:
- Minishark, but you must use bullets with as high a base damage as possible because maths. Yes, this will burn your ammo.
- Revolver is good if you want to spam-click.


ACCESSORIES:
- whatever you like really, this is pre-HM and not much counts.

in hardmode the enemies can easily kill you at the start as your weapons don't do much damage as these new enemies have higher defence so if you want some help at all during your playthru just let me know. i won't take loot or anything i'll just act as a bodyguard

thank you but I'm fine, currently playing with 2 friends. 1 melee and 1 mage. I also have a character with post moonlord loot I just felt like restarting because I hadn't played in a while and wanted to start over. I stopped playing after killing moonlord when he was just added.
