Terraria Simple Auto Chest Mod - Help

Hi, I wanted to ask, how works boss farmer chest ? ( simple auto chest mod ) If i put there some weapons then it will make a better drop loot ? | And how works Tree Gatherer chest ? Iam getting just normal wood... but i want other wood, so how it works ?

1) You put a set of weapons and armor and a boss summon on the chest. The power of the weapons determines if you get loot or not.
2) You can make the other woods at the chest with Wood and money.

Yes. But the chance of you getting loot is very small. Imagine that the chest contains a player that uses the weapons and armour in the chest to fight a boss that's summoned with a summoning item. Fighting the Eye of Cthulhu with all wooden gear is possible but very difficult.

how to get the best power? if using thorium, is the rainbow rarity is the best? like thorium set?

Rarity doesn't matter. The defensive value of the armour, set bonuses, other effects, the weapons' DPS, the weapons' effects. Those matter.

For some reason, the boss farmer does nothing for me. When I put in a bunch of slime crowns, full molten armor and a fiery greatsword, nothing ever happens. The crowns don't get used and none of the boss' drops ever spawn.
