You can't get Titanium from Wooden Crates, you have to fish for Titanium Crates they're the hardmode version of the Golden Crates
Wood, Iron and Golden Crates contain no hardmode ores whatsoever, Pearlwood Crates have Cobalt and Palladium Ore, Mythril Crates have Cobalt, Palladium, Mythril and Orichalcum Ore and Titanium Crates have all 6 hardmode ores.
