It is just 2d minecraft bbbbuuuutttt...with bosses...cooler wepons...more exploration........more enjoyable pvp...and cool mechanics so it shouldnt be compared to minecraft and is nothing like minecraft m8

Even years back when people were saying that at that time, Terraria had differentiated itself enough from Minecraft to be its own game.

And it has become even more advanced and different than vanilla Minecraft (because we would consider this version as vanilla Terraria, since no mods are needed to be able to enjoy Terraria the way it is right now).
