Harder to get voodoo dolls?

I need to kill WOF for emblems and I swear they made it almost impossible to get voodoo dolls. Ive been in hell for nearly 3 hours straight and cant get one. Does anyone know anything about this or ways to get voodoo dolls?

Your best bet would be to take a battle potion and just hope for the best

If you are having a really bad rng I can give you one voodoo doll if you want

If I remember correctly, once you get into hardmode they are harder to get. Try making new world and farm dolls there.

This^. More varieties spawn in HM so less voodoo demons overall.

A little tip. You can build a house for Guide in underworld and drop him in lava by using actuators or just breaking his floor. Hi will die in lava and WOF will spawn.

You can also use the "for the worthy" map seed where every Demon will be a Voodoo Demon allowing you to farm the dolls.

I tried this once and it didn't work. So I'm not sure if/how it works even though the wiki displays this tip.

I farmed Emblems couple of days ago with this method. It worked for me.

best to farm the voodoo dolls pre-hardmode since post hardmode other enemies spawn taking the place of the demons with the voodoo dolls.

if you still wanna do afterwards get some water candles, battle potions, have it be blood moon or an event like the solar eclipse and they'll just spawn so many during such a small time frame you should get at least 1-3 dolls every 20 mins or so.
