Is it possible to summon a frost legion when it's not Christmas. The impression that the wiki told me is that the summon for the frost legion drops during Christmas time.

Beating the frost moon gives you one in-game day of Christmas. You can then get the summon to drop during that day.

That is for summoning the Frost Moon, not the Frost Legion.

You can summon the Frost Legion with a Snow Globe in any world at any time. The drops for the globe however are only available when it's Christmas in Terraria within a hardmode world.

I believe so, the mobs will drop presents and the frost legion summon will be in a present.

Yes, but beating a Frost Moon (Reaching wave 20) is almost impossible without endgame gear. It would be easier to change the date on your computer then boot up Terraria.

During the Christmas event the drops themselves will be Presents, and opening the Presents may give you a Snow Globe provided they are opened in a world that has unlocked hardmode

You only need to complete Wave 15 to get the day. Still hard, but it’s better than 20.

No you need to reach 20 waves, and I've just tested it to be absolutely sure. Reached wave 16 and no Christmas.

i think he meant halloween

halloween is for pumpkin moon wave 15
christmas is frost moon wave 20

frost legion just have to have the snow globe you get from presents via christmas activated from reaching wave 20 on the frost moon
