Creating an Artificial Biome Switch
I made a similar post which I figured out an issue for, but starting a new one regarding another,

edit:
I have a large Mob Farm in the Cavern Layer,
I'm trying to have 6 Biomes all in one by placing their required blocks and then actuating to which I want to enable. This works for Snow and Jungle,
(Apparently Desert doesn't work in the Cavern layer without a generated background wall)

Moving onto the Corrupt / Crimson / Hallow blocks,
I'm able to place one variant and get the Farm working, but placing "1" single block from another Spreadable block causes the working Farm to turn to a default Cavern biome.

I've tried to move the single block away, it seems 80 blocks 'ish apart is the requirement but that's too far away for my Biome Switch to work, they need to be closer.

It's as if the Corrupt/Crimson/Hallow negate each other back to a Cavern biome if they intertwine.

Thoughts ?

Just incase you dont know to make a biome you need 50 of that type of block you want and if you want to automate it then use actuated versions of each block then some switches in a central hub you can pull to make the biome you want.

I know how to make a Biome, thanks.
I also know how to use wires to actuate the blocks with switches.
(I'll work on what you mentioned instead of my 1 block method)

The number of blocks is dependant on the type of biome and not a strict number set for all biomes,
eg; 50 for a Snow biome wouldn't work, you need to add another 1,450 blocks.

Creating any of the Spreadable Biomes (Corrupt/Crimson/Hallow) work if they're each individually spread 80 blocks apart from each other.

But you can't create them close enough to create a central hub is what I'm trying to do,
because what happens is, after creating a working Spreadable Biome, the moment you add "1" block from one of the remaining Spreadables Biomes, the working turns into a Cavern Biome.

The spreadable biomes counter each other. One block from hallow lowers the amount of corrupt/crimson by one, lowering it below the needed amount. You simply cannot create those to close to each other.

Simple solution for the Crim/Cor/Hal switch, use 300 stone blocks and a Clentaminator. ezpz
