Which wings for early hardmode?

With the leaf wings nerfed from Tier 5 to Tier 1, I was wondering which wings are the best for Mech bosses and Queen Slime.

You dont have many options, its basically still leaf or you do angler quests til fin or farm pixies/harpies/ice golems and kill wyverns to make wings. Pixies are the easiest of the 3 imo but each to their own.

Angel and demon wings = leaf so they arent worth it at all.

Frozen, harpy, fin and fairy wings are the best wings you can get early hardmode without killing bosses

Farming for a Gisnt Harpy Feather for the wings is rng,

I ended up giving up and made Pixie wings from x100 dust,

But shortly after I fished up Fin Wings

Take your pick

Duke fishron wings

you can get them once hardmode starts with a truffle worm and killing duke fishron

personally i go with any wings + the terraboots for added mobility and air time. Once you kill your 1st mechanical boss and spawn the steam punker you can craft them. Before that you can just stick to the fish wings.

If u are in master mode just use black stot (a flying mount from pirate invasion)

easy kill for mech bosses and queen slime.

What, I can fight Duke Fishron before Mech Bosses??? Wouldn't I be destroyed since I have difficulties fighting them after Golem??

You probably would. Only because you could do a fight doesn't mean you should do a fight. I wouldn't even consider this an option.

SOME TALLTELLER TOLD THEM ABOUT EVERYONE GETTING THOSE FIRST NIGHT HARDMODE, AND THEY SAID "no thats flow break" OR SOMETHING.

You probably would. Only because you could do a fight doesn't mean you should do a fight. I wouldn't even consider this an option.

it is an option just requires prepping. Really not too hard to do in normal worlds once you play expert and mastermode especially where most and any boss at any stage will pretty much 2-4 shot you.

they nerfed alot of ♥♥♥♥ that wasn't really needed of a nerf and didn't really buff anything. All for the dumb mastermode that really if you were gonna nerf ♥♥♥♥ why even include another game mode where enemies get buffed health damage and defense?

Most people i see usually play master mode with expert or normal end-gear to get the new ♥♥♥♥ and for the newbies they still use available exploits b/c of the stupid nerfs/reworks. All this because they nerfed stuff they felt "broke the flow of the game" while adding ♥♥♥♥ like torch luck, luck in general, npc happiness, etc.

Harpy wings are very easy, you can get the giant harpy feather in pre-hardmode, so you can craft the wings as soon as hardmode starts. Otherwise, get the Pixie wings, very easy to farm.

But you could get the best mount in the game (if you play master mode) from the pirate invasion boss (the flying dutch man). This is the best flying mount so you can skip wings and use the slot for something better.
